 Genetics Australia are now the only Australian-owned artificial breeding supplier of any significant size. Their commitment as a co-operative is to the overall genetic improvement of the Australian dairy industry.
With over 6,500 active members, net assets of $6.5 million, a turnover of $14 million and almost 100 staff, their stastics are quite impressive. They also supply 50% of Australian dairy farmer's requirements for elite semen, progeny test at least half of all bulls tested, and produce 50% of top ranked bulls of all breeds.
